TARGET L2 working on Metal for the 1st time

What a unique opportunity to work on Metal for TARGET L2, so we took advantage of it.

  1. That's a WONDERFUL vertical surface for working Paws Up. It looks as though the construction of it would give some support, making it an excellent surface for beginning to add Duration.

But before Duration, what an apparently good location for working on Distance. Do you see where your feet are at the end of this clip? What a goal THAT would be: to send Webster from that point to run to the dumpster and Paws Up and return.

Whichever you teach first is immaterial. But be sure to teach them separately (there's that CRITERIA again!). Distance and then the 5 second Duration.

A unique opportunity, yes. A unique environment as well. Nicely done.

  2. Karen, that environment was loud and busy from the back ground noise I could hear! Webster did a super job of working with all that distraction! VERY COOL! Isn't it fun how you start to notice things that make great training opportunities?! Who knew how exciting a dumpster could be! ; )

    Great work!
